Cherokee made talking stick. Native Americans have used the "Talking Stick" for centuries as a way of insuring just and impartial hearing. In council the leading elder would hold the stick as he talked and then pass it on to the next one wishing to speak. Only the person holding the stick was allowed to speak: he had the power-of-words so long as he held the stick. Hand Carved. Great for school classes.
